I would like for you to suggest a translation for this American idiom " happy go lucky', the literal translation would be felice va it fortunato.
The idiom describes the outward appearance of a person who seems to be enjoying life without worry, to appear carefree. This does not mean the person appears stupid or thoughtless.

This idiom was used by Americans who observed the italian POWS in the state of Kansas 1943 - 1946
