Came across this birth record for Maria Partanova. Presented by Maria Pagano. Maria Pagano's husband is Giuseppe Portanova (still living) but it mentions later in the record something about Nicolo. Can you clarify this for me.

The child was presented by Maria Portanova (55 years old, who assisted the birth) because Nicolò Portanova, father of the child, was away from home.
