Kindness in helping with translating this death cert?
This is the death certificate of my GG Grandfather, Dominico Cerasa. I understand most of it, but am particularly stumped with the words following Paolo Cerasa's name (Dominico's father). I believe that it is possibly where Paolo is from? Could you please help?
Dominico is the top left record.
Thank you in advance!!

No, it's Domenico's mother's name. Her surname is Pomilio, but I can't make out her given name. It looks like "Profaliva." She appears to have still been living, whereas Paolo was deceased.
Domenico was born in Terranova and was 32. His wife Giovanna was still alive.

I think the birth place of Domenico was Terranera and not Terranova, as suggested by carubia. Terranera is a frazione or hamlet of the town of Rocca di Mezzo. There are a limited number of online records at the following link:

Here is the marriage act of Domenicantonio Cerasa and Maria Giovanna Manuti in Terranera, Rocca di Mezzo, on 26 May 1866...
This confirms Domenicantonio's parents as Paolo Cerasa and Rosalina Pomili, both living...
AND the surname of Domenicantonio's wife as Manuti.
Domenicantonio Cerasa was age 23, single, laborer born and residing in Terranera
Maria Giovanna Manuti was age 24, single, spinner born and residing in Terranera.
She was the daughter of deceased Luca Manuti, and deceased Giudetta Consalui.
Publication of banns took place on 13 and 20 of May.

Thank you Erudita and Tessa! The links, Tessa, are ones that I did not of their marriage! You guys rock! I think I agree with Rosalina Pomili, and Terranera is definitely correct. It's a neat little town. We were there in September.
Warm regards!

Okay...I have one more for you.
Paolo Cerasa, my GGG grandfather died in Terranera, Italy. Can you translate the attachment below of his death record to tell me who his parents were and where they were from. The print is light, and it's tough for me to make out where his parents names are.
Thank you again! Can't wait to hear from you all again!
Sincerely,
Diane

On 15 Jul 1874 died Paolo Cerasa, 70, farmhand (bracciale), son of the deceased Francesco and the deceased Lucia Cerasa, widower of Rosalina Pomilio, born in Terranera.
It would seem that his mother's maiden name was also Cerasa. It doesn't say where his parents were from. Death records generally don't.

Thank you, Carubia! That is awesome...I thought that was what I was reading, but the Lucia Cerasa threw me because his granddaughters name was Lucia Cerasa.
Sincere thanks!

Re: Kindness in helping with translating this death cert?
Generally marriage records are the most reliable records you will find for estimating someone's year of birth, aside from their birth or baptismal record of course, so he probably was born in 1800 or 1799. Both Paolo and Rosalina were born in Terranera, and that's at least where their parents resided as well. Death records are often inaccurate with regards to the deceased's age or mother's maiden name, so the discrepancies are not surprising or unusual.
It is normal for him to have a granddaughter named Lucia Cerasa since all of his sons would be expected to have given their first daughters that name.
