Hi Linda! If you have a date of birth for Anna you can contact the comune at Petina directly and request this information. You can contact the archives directly here: anagrafe@petina.gov.it If you don't have success directly with them sometimes the records are also held at the provincial state archives and in my experience they tend to be more willing to help. Here is a sample letter you can use. It suggests that you should pay a certain amount of money, but this is absolutely a service that the comune should provide for free. So I would exclude this line, unless they specifically request money. The provincial archives will charge however. Good luck Linda!
