Casamicciola, Ischia MONTI

Hi my family are from Casamicciola Ischia mainly. Monti, Aurelio, Zabatta, Matarese, Di Luise, Buonamano, Ferrara, Iacono, Pisano. Family still live in Lacco Ameno. My great grandfather went out to NY around 1904 Vincenzo Monti along with other family members. He lived in Rhode Island in later life and his wife Maria never joined him.
Any contact from related family lines welcome. I have a tree on ancestry.
Incidentally my grandmother Filomena Monti came out to NZ from Ischia after the war.
I have gone back as far as Antonio Monti b abt 1879 Casamicciola.

Appearing was Stanislao Monti, 24, farmer of Casamicciola residing in Strada la Mandra(?) to declare that a male child was born to his wife, Maria Giusppa Spinelli, spinner, age 26, residing with the declarant. The child was born on 1 October of the current year at 7 PM at home, ad given the name FRANCESCO MONTI.

I saw your tree on Ancestry. I also have Monti, Matarese from the same area of Italy and have been trying to compare the 2 trees to see if there is any similarities. The oldest that I am for sure about is Angelo Monti b 4/6/1877 that married Altavilla Matarese b 5/26/1880. They both came over from Casamiciola Terme, Italy to Providence RI. I think (according to an uncle) his parents were Nicloa and Restituta Monti.

My maternal grandparents were from Ischia. My grandfather was Berardino De Luise, born in Casamicciola, July 7, 1887. His father was Costantino De Luise; his mother was Filomena Mazzella. I do not have their birth dates, unfortunately.
My grandmother was from Forio, just a few kilometers west of Casamicciola. Angelina Rosina Verde, born December 26,1887. Her parents were Geremia Vito Verde, born June 14, 1855; and Maria Candida Del Deo, born 1865. Both came to NYC/Ellis Island in the early 1900s.
My wife and I visited Ischia about two years ago and we may be headed back in a few weeks. Sweet little island.
The De Luise name is prominent throughout Casamicciola. De Luise Jewelers; De Luise Farmacia, etc.

My grandfather was Domenico (he went by Dominick) Verdi born 1900, and his parents were Geremia Verdi and Maria Candida Del Deo, from Forio, Ischia.
