marriage record interpretation

Lioking at this marriage record for Antonino Congialosi and Maria Prainito, I have a couple of questions. The male's parents are not listed except a Spiritu Sanctu and he was raised in care of Jesualdo Congialosi and Anna Rappa. What is the difference between the designation 'A Spiritu Sanctu' and 'Parenti Ignoti' in documents such as this? Also the mother of the bride appears to be Maria 'XXmiglia'. Would that be a last name or some abbreviated form of some name?

XXmiglia would be Ventimiglia which is a common surname in the Palermo area
