Appearing before the official... Rosa Carlucci, daughter of deceased Vincenzo, age 61, midwife residing in Sanfele, having assisted in the birth, declared that yesterday, 5 September, at 4 AM at the house in Strada Annunziata, was born to Angela Maria Picigliano, daughter of deceased Giovanni, and to Errico Cagnazzi, of father unknown, age 23, shoemaker residing in Sanfele, a female child who was presented to the official and to whom was given the name ELISABETTA
The declaration was not made by the father because he was away.
Witnesses to the record: Giambattista Zupa(?), son of deceased Francesco, 70, shoemaker; and Nicola Dovizio(?), son of deceased Pietro, 50, farmer.
