Need assistance finding birth certificate of father - Giuseppe Gagliardo

[joanne.pica]

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could assist in helping me find some information and maybe even the birth certificate of my father Joseph.

Giuseppe Gagliardo was born November 13th, 1923 in Bagheria, Sicily
Father - Stephen (I assume Stefano) Gagliardo, birthdate or birth place unknown
Mother - Maria Spano, birthdate or birth place unknown
Maria and Giuseppe immigrated to US on July, 1927

I am traveling to Sicily in June, so any and all information would be appreciated!

Thank you!

Found a little more info on my grandparents: Grandmother Maria (Spano) Gagliardo was born in Palermo on May 19, 1904. She died in Staten Island, NY on May 3, 2010. She traveled with my dad to New York from Palermo in July, 1927 on the Presidente Wilson. My grandfather, Stephen was born in Palermo circa 1901/1902.
