In addition to suanj's question, it would be helpful to know if she had a child born in Italy for whom you know a birth date or at least birth year.

Ferrero is her maiden name. She was married to Giuseppe Borla (1833-1899). From what I have been able to find is they had two children Louis Borla (born 1860) and Teresa Francesca Borla Cuniberti (born 1869)

We assumed Cristina Ferrero died, because Giuseppe Borla married a Cristina Curtino or Cravertino and had 5 daughters from her.

Louis Borla was my great grandfather. He came to the US and later sent for his wife Maria, daughter Maria and my grandfather Peter. Maria his wife died after being in the US for six months. Louis then returned to Italy and eventually remarried and had another son. My grandfather always talked about his grandmother Cristina and the two Cristina's

I believe she died in Torino between 1869 and 1874, because on 1875 the her husband had the first child from second marriage...
the last child of Cristina Ferrero was Teresa Francesca Borla on 1869, so between 1869 and 1874 she died... on line no availables the microfilms abt Deaths or Marriages, but if you can search by yourself in the microfilms in a Mormon Center, you will find what you are looking for...
regards,
