I'm searching for the birth record for Filomena Rogo/Roca/Roggi.
To the best of my research, she was born around 10 August 1888, her parents were Gennaro Rogo and Cousara Coruda. She was from Avellino (per her husband's naturalization papers) and/or Bellizzi on the ship manifest from her immigration to the US. She immigrated in October of 1912. Her husband, whom she married after arriving in Pennsylvania, is Paolo Nicolardi from Cassno del Murge.
I have searched Antenati, Ancestry and Family Search. Any other ideas? My goal is to confirm the town of origin, and continue researching the family backwards. Thanks!

Re: Searching for Birth Record
Thank you! I guess I forgot to look at the second page of the ship manifest. I will make sure not to miss that next time. I appreciate you finding the records in Avellino! I suspected that the birth date was inaccurate, but didn't know where to look to correct it. Thanks again!

Re: Searching for Birth Record
Happy to help!
FYI - The 10-year gap from the marriage of Gennaro and Concetta in 1876 to the birth of Modestino in 1886, presents the probability that there were other children born to the couple in that span of years.
If there were an earlier son, he MAY also have been named Modestino following the Italian naming tradition, and probably died. Then the son born in 1886 would have been given the name.

Re: Searching for Birth Record
Searching for birthplace of my grandmother, Ida Concato Quaglietta. Her mother was emilia mattiello, father was Federico Concato. She did live for a time in Rionero but she was not born there. Any help on these three ancestors would be appreciated.

The groom's parents were present to give their consent to the marriage.
