Number 24
Vinenzo Savasta, son of Natale (deceased)
Anna Rosa Alesso, daughter of Vincenzo (deceased)

The year 1885, the 24th of September at 8 p.m. at the town hall of Giraci Siculo, upon to the public.
Before me, Mariano Sciajno, son of Paolo, assessor, acting on behalf of the mayor and official of the state, personally appeared:

1. Vincenzo Savasta, a single man, age 30, shepherd, born in Geraci Siculo, resident of Geraci Siculo, son of Natale (Savasta), deceased, who was a resident of Geraci Siculo when he was living, and of Anna Baldanza, a resident of Geraci Siculo,
2. Anna Rosa Alesso, a single woman, age 20, home maker, born in Geraci Siculo, daughter of Vincenzo (Alesso), deceased, a resident of Geraci Siculo when he was living, and of Stefana Neglia, resident of Geraci Siculo

who requested to be united in in marriage. For this purpose they presented the document described below and from the examination of that document as well as the previously produced act for the request to publicize the intent to marry, which I insert in the volume of attachments to the register, concluding that there is no obstacle to the celebration of their marriage, I read article 130, 131, and 132 of the Civil Code to the intended spouses, then asked the husband if he intended to take as his wife the here present Anna Rosa Alesso, and to her I asked if she intended to take the here present Vincenzo Savasta as her husband, and each having responded affirmatively and of sound mind before the witnesses indicated below, I pronounced in the name of the law that they were united in marriage. To this act were present:

Giuseppe Silvestri, son of Antonio (deceased) age 42, pharmacist and
Giovanni Baldanza, son of Ignazio, age 34, wood worker,
both residents of this town. The document presented is the evidence of the execution of the first publication of intent on the first of September 1885, the second publication on 8th of that month, this year. To the marriage ____ presented the consent of the wife due to the minor age of the same. The act read to the attendees, they signed below, other than the mother of the wife who declared that she does not know how to write.

Vincenzo Savasto
Anna Rosa Alessi (sic)
Giuseppe Silvestri, witness
Giovanni Baldanza, witness
