Ship records

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Ship records

Post by jennjenn0822 »

Hello,

I am looking for ships that departed New York in late July 1920 to November 1920 to Italy.

I found the records of their arrival in 1899 but I know they applied for passports and returned in 1920.

Their names were Antonio Dimatteo; his children Tony Dimatteo (B1900) and Rosa Anna DiMatteo (B1908-1910)

Thank you

There are no outbound records available. Are you looking for the DiMatteo family's return manifest to the US after their trip to Italy, their passport information?

As Biff mentioned, there are no outgoing records for ships in USA.

Here is the link to passport applications for Antonio (b. 1900), and following his, the application for the elder Antonio and his daughter Rosa Anna (born 1 July 1910 in Ohio)
The second page of each includes photos and physical descriptions :D
