Re: Any know any things about D MILESSIO?
I found out through ancestry that Dominick Milessio is my 4th great grandfather. He married Mary Green, and had four daughters so his name died out. It appears they all left Ireland to England during the time of the potato famine.
Re: Any know any things about D MILESSIO?
Hi any idea what the four daughter were called? John Rogers

Re: Any know any things about D MILESSIO?
Wow! You have a lot of great information! Are you also related to him? I have been searching for a picture of one of his pieces that he made. I found an article in Clocks magazine (2004) that mentioned one of his clocks sold at Bonhams auction house in London. But no picture was in the magazine.
Margaretta born 1833 married John Hargreaves
Dominica born 1831 married Lawrence Chiocchi
Elizabeth born 1834
Rosana Gert Melissio born 1820, cannot find death or marriage of Rosana. (Seems that I have seen Rosina and Gert as family names from remaining 3 sisters families.)
Dominick was present Dec 24 1848 at wedding of Margaretta to John Hargreaves in Liverpool. Also found he passes away in 1850 in Liverpool.

Hi, I have finally found his marriage after 10 years of searching (I must have used 1000s combination of various names) and 4 of his children baptism... His stay in the USA must have been short, until mid to late 1830s... Yours John Rogers

Re: Any know any things about D MILESSIO?
I will look into this the birthdays of daughters are off from what other family members have. I also found a picture Lizzie Borrella and Agnes Borella who I believe are Elizabeth Millesio's daughters. Will try to send to you through this email system.
