Hello!
I found the marriage records for my 2nd great-grandparents Antonino Tringali and Francisca Romeo. They seem to say that Antonino's mother was alive at the time of the banns, but died between the banns and the recording of the marriage. Is this the correct interpretation? The only possible match in the death records in 1904 is above - but does it say Sebastiana was 4 when she died? If so, I keep searching!
Thanks!
Courtney

Re: Death record
Yes, the death record you found is for a child of 4 years.
You are correct about the recording of Antonino's mother in the banns and marriage... alive on 17 July and deceased by 21 August...
However, you might want to also check the deaths before 17 July... it is possible that her status as "living" is an error by the clerk.
