2mi3museum & Sanzoni Family

[2mi3museum]

Dear Friends,

I'm Dimitri Vafiadis, a Greek, Italian and Armenian man living in Istanbul. I'm working on tracking my family history over my project '2mi3museum'.

2mi3museum, is an e-museum of a Greek, Armenian and Italian family that still lives in Turkey from 1800s to date, with old photographs, collections of coins, toys, wares...

The surnames that belong to my family are Vafiadis, Sanzoni, Mıgırdician, Koulurgioti, Koskeri, Akasi and Cakiroglu...As you can understand from Sanzoni surname, i have roots in Italy.

As i've investigated Liborio Sanzoni, the grand father of my father has been migrated to Karaagac in Edirne from Palermo, Sicily. I know his fathers name and it was Marco Sanzoni. Unfortunately i couldn't find documents but i have the stories and the photographs from my grandfather. But i could find two documents about Sanzoni Family, in Turkish governmental archives but you need a very clear reason to read them :/

Here i share with you the short history of Sanzoni Family.

And here i share the photographs of Sanzoni family.

There are very interesting stories of Sanzoni Family. For example their son joined to WWII while he was studying in Italy. https://www.2mi3museum.com/vincentzo-sa ... rnee-in-ww

Let me tell you, why i have joined this lovely forum. I would like to track Sanzoni family and i believe that i can find relatives here or some information.

Best Regards,
Dimitri
