I have found a few names of interest on both 1920 census and the 1930 census, but I cannot be sure.........it is possible Serafina went by Annie??
To know the names of Angelo's children would help narrow down the right family.....

In summary...........

Angelo Montanaro
dob - 1885 Solopaca, Benevento, Italy
wife- Serafina
arrival - may 1905, joining brother in law Antonio Fiorentino in Germantown, Pennsylvania.
http://ellisisland.org/EIFile/popup_wei ... &line=0018

Luca Montanaro to see his brother Angelo, 1913 in Patterson, New Jersey,
http://ellisisland.org/EIFile/popup_wei ... &line=0024
and page two........
http://ellisisland.org/EIFile/popup_wei ... &line=0024

Is all the info correct?

Have been busy with graduation and celebrations.......there was a census of interest, wife's name was Annie.......but without some other detail to correctly identify this family......any and all census are speculation........unless the name Serafina comes up as well, or a variation thereof.........

Do you know the names of any of Angelo and Serafina's children???

Lol....I saw that one to...... 8O

Problem is the name is not uncommon, and is showing up in multiple states.......if we had the children, we could identify the family correctly.

And what of Fiorentino? Is this correct for Serafina's surname?

Quote, "Angelo Montanaro when came in Usa went to his brother in Law FERENTINO Antonio"

And can you provide some detail of this statement......

"Michele was my Uncle and divorce"??

"And what of Fiorentino? Is this correct for Serafina's surname?"

Yes I Think so. But many times the emigrant don't saw the true.
Agelo came two time in USA the firs is not documented becos is before 1900. Serafina cames in 1902 with ship Phoenicia and went to his husband Angelo Montanaro. The surname at EllisIsland was Montanaro

"Angelo Montanaro when came in Usa went to his brother in Law FERENTINO Antonio"

Yes he came the second time in 1905 with the ship Prinz Adalbert

And can you provide some detail of this statement......

"Michele was my Uncle and divorce"??

I dont not in which manner Rosanna know that details.
Luca my grandfather is death in 1947
My grandmother Angela (Salomone) did not came in Usa. (died in 1970

My uncle Michele did not came in Usa and is died in 1998

He has divorced, true.

Bye
