We are in the USA and have been in touch with our GGM's comune to send her birth record for Italian citizenship. They refuse unless we provide a self-addressed envelope (which we have done) along with Italian stamps. Would anyone in Italy (or elsewhere if you have the proper stamps) be willing to buy and send us Zone 2 stamps (which I believe are correct for air mailing to USA)? We would happily pay for your time and costs.
€3.90 Zone 2 stamp should be plenty per this page:

Thanks in advance for any help!

On the right hand side there is an "Advance Search" option. Choose it. Then choose Italy as the country of Origin from the drop down menu. Then, on the far right of second line of drop down options you can choose the type of stamp. There will be a "B Zone 2_50g" option!
Have fun
