Hiring a Genealogist in Avellino

Post by nick3371 »

I am looking to hire a professional genealogist in Avellino province. I am just looking to do research in one town. Do you recommend anyone? I got one quote for $650 but wanted to ask around before hiring.

Thank you!

It would be helpful to know the name of the town first, and specifically what you're looking for.

If you wish to have opinions, suggestions or tips on research addresses and possible entrusting of the research to a genealogist, try first to make explicit the city and the characters you are looking for. Maybe one of us can help you.

Happy New Year!
Civil records up to 1861 are online, and viewable at FHC's.
But I know you are skilled enough to know, so, maybe I didn't understand the question?

I've gotten as far back as I can with civil records, and need someone to access the church records. If I could travel to Villanova I would love to do it myself. The parish priest said he would look for me but he is very busy so I thought I'd look into hiring someone.

Hi Pippo...happy new year!

I was hoping to find some church records and civil records after 1861, so I think a genealogist is my only option.

The comune in question is in the Province of Catanzaro. Does your researcher also work in that province or only Cosenza?

Laura Lee Watson lives in Catanzaro. Did she not answer?

Maida is a 90 minute drive. He would probably do it.
