How might I find out where my great, great, great grandfather is buried? Ancestry says he passed away in Corina Como, Lombardia. Did not find anything on findagrave.com.
Would love to also find the address of where he lived.

Re: Luigi Giuseppe Gaggia, dec. 1920 Como, Italy
Luigi Giuseppe Gaggia was born in 1869 and died August 23, 1920. The family tree references place of birth and death as Como. He was married to Marianna Nesossi. All of their children were born in Tirano: Giuseppe Luigi Gaggia, born 1881 (changed his name to Joseph when emigrated to US), Fausto Delfino Gaggia, born (also emigrated to US) and Domenico Gaggia (no information).
On my great grandmothers side, Pellegrino Cecchi (1863 Italy - 1965 US) was her father and Rosa G Alderigi (1866 Italy - 1962 US).
Pellegrino's parents were Francesco Cecchi and Maria Masini.
Rosa's father was Luigi Alderigi.
It is my understanding they are all Northern Italians.
It appears the entire family emigrated to the US from what I can tell. Sadly this means I probably have no family to find in Italy. I will be traveling to northern Italy this year and was hoping to find some places to visit, past homes, etc., that may have been tied to my family.
I have also learned that I cannot claim Italian citizenship because my great grandfather naturalized before my grandfather was born.

This is the birth record of Giuseppe Luigi Gaggia in Tirano on Jun 25, 1881:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cat=993153
Father was Luigi Giuseppe, son of Alessandro, 27 years old, carpenter.
This puts his birth in about 1854, that seems more logic than 1869.

This is great information, thank you!
Are you able to find anything on Allesandro? Or on the Cecchi side?
