Looking for parents, grandparents and more, if possible, of Marietta "Angelina" DeRuvo (any records found so far were under Angelina DeRuvo but none had her parents). She was born January 20, 1901 in San Paulo, Brazil and died September 24, 1988 in Brooklyn, New York. She was married to Orazia Poliseno (1903-1991) and they had 7 children. The first child, Dominick (Donald) J. Poliseno was born June 3, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY. She is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn.

Just found their Ellis Island Records and from there, I found their Palo del Colle, Bari marriage record (see no way to add attachments to a reply). The translation of her July 26,1919 marriage record shows her parents to be deceased Nicola DeRuvo and deceased Angela Malfetta? (handwriting tough to decipher). It also confirms that she was born in Brazil. Looking now for the ancestors of her parents and could use some help.

Surprising myself. I found the 1899 marriage record (#85) of Nicola DeRuvo and Angela Molfetta (not Malfetta as in earlier reply - handwriting on her death record was clearer). Nicola DeRuvo's parents were Pietro De Ruvo and Maria Nicola Ciminiello? (document fuzzy).
