Dated 2 February 1859 in Sasso
Groom: Roccantonio di Vita, 23, born in Sasso, peasant farmer residing here, son of deceased Sebastiano, and of deceased Teresa Coronato.
Bride: Maddalena Lo(g)giurato, 22, born in Vignola, daughter of deceased Domenico, and of Rosaria Langone.
List of documents presented for the marriage:
1 - birth act of groom
2 - birth act of bride
3 - act of death of father of the groom
4 - act of death of mother of the groom
5 - copy of the marriage of Sebastiano di Vita and Maria Grazia Bonaventura as the death act states that he is the husband of Maria Grazia Bonaventura, not Teresa Coronato, as he was a vedovo.
6 - act of death of the paternal grandfather of the groom
7. act of death of the mother of the bride.
8 - act of notification showing no opposition to the marriage
9 - act of solemn promise to marry.
The bride was unable to provide the death act of her father nor her paternal grandfather as she had no knowledge of where they died, nor their last residence.
The witnesses to the present act declared their knowledge of the spouses, but not of the bride's father or paternal grandfather's place of death or last residence.
Church celebration of marriage on 3 February at the local parish church. Witnesses to that celebration were Rocco Curto and Michele Salvia.
