Researching Dellea/Cassini in Como/Lombardy/Monteviasco

I have quite a bit of information after my great grandfather immigrated to the US but have found nothing from Italy.

My great great grandfather (John in US records) was born in Monteviasco in 1839 and was murdered in the US in 1892 (by a Cassini nephew). He was married to a Madeline Cassini who never immigrated (that I can find). US records for my great grandfather sometimes list her as Jennie or Penny Cassini (and sometimes Cassina).

My great grandfather Luigi (Louis or Luis) Cessere was born in 1879 in either Como or Monteviasco. He immigrated in 1899.

His brother (also John) was born in Como or Monteviasco in 1885. He immigrated around 1900. He married a Rosa Dellea (unsure of maiden name) in the US in 1916 but she died in 1917. He went back to Italy around 1920 to marry a Mary Dellea (unsure of maiden name). They immigrated back by 1922 when their first daughter was born in MA.

There is also a sister of John and Luigi listed as Mary who I have no records of.

I have reached out to the Comunes of Lombardy, Como, and Monteviasco. I have so far only received an automated reply from Lombardy with a case number.

I have searched through Ancestors Portal with no luck.

Anyone have suggestions or can point me to some information?

Monteviasco was a Comune in the Province of Como until 1927. In 1928 it became part of the Province of Varese, and was united with Curiglia
Records for Curiglia con Monteviasco are online at Ancestry, but only for the years 1931-1937
For others years write to the Comune (info@comune.curigliaconmonteviasco.va.it) but if you want them to help you must be very specific and give all the details you know.

PS Dellea is a typical surname in the area, but I think that the correct spelling of your grandfather surname was Cassina rather than Cassini

I did reach out to that Comune at both their regular and Pec email addresses a few months ago but have not received a reply or acknowledgement. I'm contemplating hiring someone as I will need a couple of birth certificates for dual citizenship.

Spelling has been a challenge with several lines of my family. Many were changed and altered through immigration making it harder to trace lines back.

I live not far from there, so I can do the ancestor's research and take the birth certificates for the citizenship.
