Delicata Tuzi - Sora

Hello,

I am trying to locate information about my 5th Great Grandmother Delicata Tuzi. I've been unable to locate her death record and am trying to determine her parents and possible siblings. I believe she died sometime between 1837-1855.

She married Domenico Fantauzzi probably between 1800-1804. Their first child was born in 1805. Their children were all born in Sora. Domenico died in 1855 and his record indicates he was a widower of Delicata.

If anyone has her in their records with other information, I would love to hear from you! Thank you!!

Where did you search for Delicata’s death record?
Was it on Antenati?

Welcome to the forum!

I have checked the death indices from 1836-1849 on Antenati and found no Delicata Tuzi.
The death acts from 1850-1855 are available, but only while viewing at a Family History Center or affiliated library.

Death records for Sora are also freely available on Antenati. 1809 to 1899 and many have indices.
That’s where I found Domenico’s death in 1855.

Definitely Delicata was alive in 1837 for the marriage of her daughter Marianna Fantauzzi...

Thank you both for looking at this. Yes, I had been searching the Antenati and I'm at a loss at why she does not appear in the indexes. I'm stuck between 1842 now and 1855.
