The date is Nov 30, 1770.

I’m in the middle of something else but will translate the record soon, if no one else does so first.

Nov 30, 1770

groom: Antonino Mistretta, never before married, of the land of ? (What I see is Castritermanimo) but I can’t find a town in Italian even close to the Latin). He was never before married, the son of deceased Carmelo Mistretta and Anna Tuzzolino.

Bride: Antonina Quartana, never before married, from Burgi(o), Should be the town in Agrigento Province, daughter of Lorenzo Quartana and Domenica Miceli-the parents were of this town of Campofiorito.

Hopefully someone else can figure out the groom’s town.

I think it could be the town of Casteltermini in Agrigento Province. I just discovered that, in Sicilian, the town name was Castertermini, which may be close to the Latin spelling I see in the record. If I have some free time tomorrow, I’ll further investigate this possibility. I know the surname Mistretta exists there.

I have confirmed that the town was Casteltermini in Agrigento Province. Antonino's parents married there in 1723. More tomorrow, as it's almost 11:30 p.m. here.

In addition to the above record on folio 388, there is a marriage record for Clemente Tuzzolino. Dated the same day, it is two records above the one for Carmelo Mistretta and Clemente’s daughter, Anna Tuzzolino.

The groom, Clemente Tuzzolino was the son of deceased Michele and deceased Melchiona Tuzzolino. He was the widower of deceased Aleanora di Noto.

The bride was Angela Vaccaro, daughter of deceased Michele and deceased Giuseppa Vaccaro. she was the widower of deceased Vincenzo Musco.

All were former married couples living in this town.

Meant to type that the bride was a widow and not widower.
