Hi everyone,
My great-grandfather was Giovanni Di Stefano, born around 1887, possibly in or near Naples (Napoli). He immigrated to the U.S. around 1910, and I believe he entered through New York (Ellis Island Slope Game). I’m not sure of the exact town he came from. His wife’s name was Maria Russo, also from the Naples area, and they eventually settled in New Jersey.
My questions are:
How to narrow down the exact town or comune in or near Naples.
Where to look for Naples-area civil records or church records.
Any advice on contacting local archives or Comune di Napoli.
Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Re: Seeking Help Tracing My Family from Naples
Hello!
I've found several Giovanni's in New Jersey born around that year.
Can he be one of these?:

Where did they live, exactly?

IF... the Giovanni born in 1889 on the record posted by Pippo
turns out to be your ancestor's...This may be his birth act in Vittoria in 1889.

You say that they "eventually" settled in New Jersey... did they live elsewhere?
Were they married in USA?
Can you tell us the names of their children?
