Colombo Family of Bonefro Italy

Post by JNC »

I am researching my Colombo ancestors from Bonefro, Italy. I can trace my family to Giuseppe Colombo (b. 1807) and wife Valerina Cicoria (b. 1810); son Giuseppe Antonio (b. 20 Jan 1856) and wife Maria Giovanna Perrotta (b. 1835); and son Michele Antonio (b. 25 Dec 1834) wife Carmela Giuliano (sp?) (b. 1848). Does anyone have information about other children, their spouses, dates of birth and dates of death for any of these ancestors?

Michele and Carmela are my great grandparents who had 4 sons (Michele Antonio {b. 5 Oct 1879}, Giovonni {30 Jul 1881}, Antonio Giuseppe {b. 13 Apr 1883} and my grandfather Nicola [b.8 Mar 1897}). I have information about their spouses and children, except for Giovonni and his wife Irena Primani (?) Does anyone have information about my great-grandparents date of death? My grandmother Serafina Albano Colombo was adopted by my great-grandparents and later married my grandfather. Does anyone know the background of my grandmother's birth (14 Mar 1899) and childhood? I know she was born out of wedlock, and apparently, her father was my great-grandfather's brother?? All my ancestors lived in Bonefro before the 4 brothers all immigrated to America.

Any additional information would be welcomed.

Here:

https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/search- ... ta=bonefro

you can see the original records.
First, select year on the left, and then, the register you want to see.
Of course, here you can look for more records about the family
