Mille Grazie!!! mmongo!

I saw that site a few years ago and never saved it, so I am delighted to have your link. I've registered on it now, and can't wait to get searching.

Amazing... truly amazing.

Francesco Nicoscia, husband of the late Antonina Grazia, aged about 56 years and having received all the sacraments, died on 16 November 1808. He was buried in the church of S. Biagio (Canicattì, Morti Vol. 36, 1808–1811, f. 1, image 2).

He was born on 30 November 1759 to Domenico and Anna, and was baptised on 1 December (Canicattì, Battesimi S. Biagio, Vol. 1, 1753–1764, f. 165, image 128).

Thank you again!

I couldn't quite understand the writing or where you got the dates from, but I've since read a little about the Roman Calendar being only 10months and it now makes a little more sense, and interestingly explains why our months are called what they are Sept being 7 Octo being 8 and so on.. I love how the paths of genealogy take is in so many directions.

The old texts are abbreviated and not always consistent but we enjoy a challenge!

Have a great weekend.

Grazie Tutti !!
