Re: Giffoni Valle Piana marriage record
Marriage No 10: Antonino Toro and Maria Carmela Tedesco
Giffoni Valle Piana: 19 May 1831
Appearing were:
Groom: Antonino Toro, 24 yo, born and living in Giffoni Valle Piana, a bracciale (day labourer). He was the son of the deceased Gaetano Toro, also a bracciale who had lived in the town, and of Agnesa Varra, living in the town.
Bride: Maria Carmela Tedesco, 26 yo, born and living in Giffoni Valle Piana, daughter of Elia Tedesco, a bracciale, and of Serafina Masucci, both living in the town.
They were married in the Parish of Santo Elia di Sovvieco, on 30 May 1831.
Supporting Documents were:
1. Birth Extract of the groom, Antonino Toro
2. Death Extract of (groom’s) father
3. Death Extract of paternal grandfather of the groom
4. Birth Extract of the bride, Maria Carmela Tedesco
5. Copy of the Notificazione made in this town (which resulted in no opposition to the marriage taking place).
Edit to Add:
Also present at the Act were Agnesa Varra, mother of the groom, Antonino Toro, who gave her consent and declared that she did not know how to write. Also present at the Act were Elia Tedesco and Serafina Masucci, parents of the bride, Maria Carmela Tedesco, who gave their consent, and also declared they were unable to write.
(The name seems to be written “Masacci” in this record but the correct spelling I'm understanding to be “Masucci”.)

Re: Giffoni Valle Piana marriage record
Very happy to help.
I've located the original death record pertaining to Gaetano Toro and translated it below. You may want to post the church records which are in Latin, for translation.
Death No 67: Gaetano Toro
Registered on 10 August 1817 in Giffoni Valle Piana
Appearing were Luigi Lamberto, son of Pietro, 32 yo, a bracciale (day labourer), living in the village of Curticelle (a village/hamlet of said town) and Nicola Marano, a calzolaio (cobbler/shoemaker), also living in the Curticelle Village, both neighbours of the deceased. They reported that on 10 August 1817 at 10 pm, Gaetano Toro, son of the deceased Antonino, and husband of Agnesa Varra, living in said village of Curticelle, died in his own house. He was 50 yo and day labourer.

It's too bad it doesn't include Gaetano's mother in the record, just his father. I couldn't see that it was included in Antonino's death record either. I'll take another look later but it would be worth having it translated by someone who is experienced in reading Latin.
