One or Two Wives

Post by rp76226 »

Salvatore Pagliarello Puma, an opera tenor who traveled the world to sing, was born in Racalmuto, Agrigento, Sicily on May 6, 1920 and died in Rome on March 15, 2007. He married, per an official Racalmuto document, Maria Ramirez Flores on February 15, 1958 (see attachment). Wikipedia says he retired to Rome and lived with his wife Lupita Guadalupe, a soprano. I also have a photo of him and his wife when they were seniors and the name given is Lupita Flores. That makes me think that maybe these two wives were really the same person. Can anyone verify whether or not he had on or two spouses? I also do not know if he had any children.

Ron

"Lupita" is a nickname for "Guadalupe"--->"Guadalupita"
So, it's very likely that they are the same person.

A woman called Franca Vittoria Verardi commented that she knew him and his wife Lupita Flores.
You might try to contact her.
