Hello,
Would you please let me know what this document says? Giuseppe and Marina are my 9th grandparents. Not sure if the next page is also a part of this document.
Thank you. Marlena

Both pages are part of the riveli which is a form of census. You’re lucky to have it as these documents have since been withdrawn from Antenati.

The family members were:
Giuseppe Cozzo, 54 years old; Marina, his wife; Leonardo, their son, 18 years old, and Giuseppina Maria, their daughter.
Then were listed the real estate: a vineyard, a farmland and unused land, located in Trabia, Porta (?) del Torriglione, near the vineyard belonging to Cosimo Zangara and Andrea Cozzo.
There were listed also the land surface, but I hope someone coult help with ancient Sicilian measures.
Then were listed also valuable goods, a “balduino di pelo guaciardo”, that was something fur-like.

Re: Giuseppe Cozzo and MArina Tomasello, Trabia
I am looking for any FAVORITO family members who live in Lipari, Italy.
My grandparents were Onofrio and Elenor FAVORITO.
My grandfather was born in Lipari in November 15th 1893.
They moved to the USA and lived in Massapequa. Long Island NY for most of their lives.
However, they went back to Lipari, Italy to visit all their relatives in the 1960's.
I was wondering if there are any FAVORITO's left on the Island of Lipari.
After some research I found out that FAVORITO is not a very common name in Lipari anfd their are probably 5-10 family members still living on the island. I will visit Lipari on May 16. So, God willing, I would love to see some FAVORITO family members if possible. God bless you for you help in advance. Sincerely, John Michael Domino

What a great resource! You're right that the riveli are censuses - they're the property declarations made for tax purposes in the late medieval and Renaissance periods, and they contain incredibly detailed information about households.
The fact that you have both pages is wonderful because:
1. The riveli often list all family members and their relationships
2. They provide information about property holdings and social status
3. They can help you build a complete picture of the family across generations
For Trabia specifically (near Palermo), the Antenati portal has made digitized records available from various periods. Since this document appears to be from that region, you might find:
- Corresponding entries in church records (baptisms, marriages)
- Tax records that mention the same families
- Land records connected to their property
The surnames you mentioned (Rinella, Campagna, etc.) in Trabia seem to be local family networks. This could be very helpful for building a broader family tree for that area.
Have you checked the Antenati database directly for Trabia and Trabia parish records? They might have additional riveli or related documents that could expand your family picture.
Great find with this document!
