re:records in renazzo di cento ferrara emilia romagna
checked both www.antenati and family search for civil records in renazzo di cento in ferrara emilia romagna. virtually nothing other than some early napoleonic records. nothing for later records. restoration or italian civil records. if anyone knows of other options short of writing to the comune let me know.

The better option is asking to the Parish Church of Renazzo or to the Diocesan Archive of Bologna.
The parish church was heavily damaged in the 2012 earthquake, so before you need to ask the Diocesan Archive of Bologna, if records are still available and where.

thanks. evidently nothing is currently available in a searchable database at www.antenati or familt search.i would assume whats available currently won;t change i've researched many comunes in italy and sicily over the last 25 years. i used to write for records both civil and church. civil offices would usually respond but churches virtually never. i even sent donations in lire conversion with no success.
