Hi! I realize this thread is a few years old but I am just stumbling upon it now. I am a Capone living in the US and my father was born in Gambatesa. Giuseppe Capone born 4-29-1907 was my great grandfather.

Hello, I am currently researching my family, and this forum came up when I typed in one of their names. Francesco Capone is my Great-Great Grandfather. Raffaela Capone was his cousin. I have notes from my great-grandparents about their life and documentation about each person. In my notes, Francesco Capone was born circa 1870 and immigrated here in the early 1900s. It also states that Raffaela's Father was a police officer in Camden, New Jersey. I am reaching out in hopes of getting a response!
