1603 Monreale Birth

Little confused with 1603 Monreale birth for Vito DiMiceli/Ferla where the parents are Matteo and Petruzza. Number 134 on the below link.

Looks like Matteo had an alias name, Ferla, but who is Maria? His first wife and her sur name is Ferla?

Very confusing.

Day June 4th, 1603.
Baptism record of Vito Di Michele, alias Ferra, born on June 3rd, 1603 to Matteo Di Michele and his wife Maria, both from that town and parish church.
He was baptized by Don Giovanni Santi, godfather was Giovanni Rao and godmother was Paola Culluna, both from that place.

Thank you but I have a comment.

If Maria is the wife then what is between Matteo and DiMichele. To me it looks like Petruzza which is Matteo's wife based on their marriage.
