do i consider this finished

Post by lindamauer »

I have desire of records for
Margherita di Biaggio believed to be of Salemi val di Mazara trapani
born about 1736 married about 1756 to francesco lombardo of the same land born about 1736 who died before son's marriage in November, 1777 Giuseppe married in montevago to Anna Pirniciaro

I am looking for confirmation that i should stop looking or where else should i look as i see nothing available online.

Thanks much

I don't believe those records are currently available online. I heard earlier this year that Trapani church records will be digitalized like those of Agrogento, but AFAIK it hasn't happened yet, and least not for Salemi.

https://www.italianparishrecords.org/se ... ia/trapani

There also are some riveli di bene e anime on the antenati portale. Search the town in question or simply Trapani. These are part of the Palermo state archives. They are early tax census records of goods and souls. Very difficult to read.
