This applies to all your posts.

Please be more specific & answer the following.

What is your reaserch goal(s)? US research? Italian research? Both?
1st name(s)? Year of birth(s)
Immigrated to? When? Where settled?

Provide as much information on a family group as you can...This will help us locate the correct family on US records and hopefully get you back to the Italian town of origin, if this is your goal.

Thanks, jcsm

Hi Marco,

Since you aren't very specific with your research goals its difficult to help you...What we can do is provide you with some general links so that you can continue with your research..

Great site for shop manifests and to see where people came from would be..

www.ellisisland.org
or
www.stevemorse.org.

These are free databases that require registeration and password.

This link with take you to a Rotaccia manifest..

Another useful link is for the Italian Phone Listings. Just insert your suranme and see what hits come up..

Of course, if you sign up with ancestry.com then you could find lots of great info but it does require a subscription and payment but you could always sign up for the free 14 day trail.

There are lots of other sites out there but you would need to have a look doing a google search to find what you're interested in.

Hope this helps some..
