Hi Ceil23,

If you are interested in tracing the family(ies) in Lentini, Italy, the LDS Church (Mormans) has filmed the civil records (birth, marriagr, & death acts) for this town.

Here is a link to the available films. They cover the years 1820-1929.

H Nuccia,

I found the name Stuto in the family tree, part of what I just received....he is on my Granmother's side of the family, I think from what I see one of her Uncle's sons.or possible his grandson Phillip, the Uncle was born in 1853...more then likely it was his grandson who my Grandfather went to stay with in Omaha, I do know other cousins were living in Omaha by that time.... Giovanni Martines( Martinez) married Providenzia Stuto....on Feb.22, 1873... I'm still trying to figure it all out..That name I had never heard of before.... its in what I received this week.
You are on the Money!!!
Wish I had your talent. Thank you so much again.

Thank you Nuccia.
I certainly will if I run into any snags. My main thing was to get info from the USA that I couldn't find...I have the family tree from Lentini just completed from someone who had the civil records from the town in his data base...How Lucky was that!!!!! Ceil23

Hi,
My name is Becky Stuto. I was researching the Stuto family histotry when I came across your post. My Father's name was Thomas Charles Stuto and my Grandfather's name was Charles Thomas Stuto. Our family was from Sicily but I'm not sure where in Sicily. We all lived in Sacramento California and I know that I am/was related to a Phillip Stuto. I really don't know too much but I have Aunts who could probably help me. I would be happy to share any info I can find. I would love to find out more as well.

Hi Becky,

Welcome to the forum!

Would you mind very much & do a "new topic" for your family? Just so resarch on your family doesn't get mixed up with cell23 family,

Also, please provide birth years and other family members (Wives, children, siblings) & their information.

Thanks,

jcsm
