It looks to me that Josephine is the same Giuseppa Falco (sister of Michele Falco) that was supposed to travel in 1908 with her children Camela (Millie) and Filippo (Philip) but never departed at that time.

The dates of birth are compatible with the info that VJ sent!

Since there is no men as household head she might have been widow.
I have just rented some microfilm from the LDS. I hope to find more info about birth dates there.

Benny still remain a mistery. We don't know anything about him.

Giuseppa must have sailed at a later time or have been added to the next ship manifest list for some reason. Thats not unusal..but we will need to find the other manifest.

As for Benny...the name is definitely misspelled because I just went through over 1000 Falco names and the whole family is gone..this means we need to look a different spellings.

Then again, I could have just missed them...

the data from the 1920 are infact of them.
Nicolo' D'Alio died in 1919 and Carmela report to be widowed.
The names and date of the children do match even if they are mispelled or slightly incorrect.

Carmela children are
Michael born in 1910
Thomas born in 1914
Domenica born in 1917
Teresa born in 1918
She had two more children:
Carmelino born in 1908 in NY, he died when he was 3-4 years old. And Antonino born in 1911 or 1912 in NY. He died in 1913 in Nicosia during the trip home that Carmela did in 1913.

Do you know how we can find the birth records of these two children?

We know she did came back but apparently from this manifest she did not sail on this trip.

IF you have a chance can you check in Ancestry if there are any additional information about:
D'Alio Francesca died on Nvv 4 1909 when she was 11 months old in Manhattan
and
D'Allio Ignazia died on Sep 5 1920 when she was 38 in Manhattan

I believe Ignazia (her married name is misspelled - her maiden name should be Gaeta or Gaita) is the sister in law of Carmela Falco and Francesca is her daughter.

Ignazia's husband is
0021. D'Alio, Antonino M 41y S Italian South Nicosia, Catania arrive at Ellis Island in 1908.

I think Ignazia lastname is misspelled.
Her full nama is Ignazia Francesca Gaita married D'Alio.
The family was very strict in following the naming protocol of children. That's why I believe Francesca D'Alio is her daughter.
