Hi wldspirit!
Thank you :D
California research certainly seems to be a bit easier.
Marlene's family appears to be getting larger the further
back we look 8O !
I keep reviewing what we have so far, can't find anything
too suspect except the 1905 CA birth for Rubino in 1905.
We definitely need some stronger links/records now that we're back
to a possible g-g-grandmother for Philip Rinella.

I'll run this by my Dad and Aunt tomorrow. It's amazing how people just scatter in 100 years, lol ! Is there a way I can print out just one message at a time, every time I end up printing the whole thing.
Thanks, Marlene

You could use the copy/paste feature and put it into notepad or something similar.....

wldspirit,
I checked the site - it indicates they removed their records in 2003
due to a senate bill? Only accessed from computers at their location?
Does this sound correct to you?

For all :D :
Summary, so far
- Haven't done much with the Rinella side of Marlene's family...
- May have made too many assumptions in connecting De Matteo/
Vallelunga to the Rubino side of the family.
Thank you! Valarie

I have a few more names to throw out. Kind of a mish mash of info, not sure who's side of the family they are on.

Barone family; Joe, Philip (son & g. father?)- lived on Willow st, San Jose,Ca when my Dad lived on Vine St.

There is a female Barone married to a Joe Campangia (I think I've seen that name on a manifest somewhere).

Philip Barone was the Grandfather. I believe the manifest for Giuseppe & Carmela 1901 show his name as person theyare going to live with.

Joe Barone married to Georgette Cancemilla.

Joe Campangia married a Barone, don't know name.

Joseph Rubino (Josephine's brother) married Josephine Cancemilla (sp?), they were first cousins ! If I can read my own writing it says they were both morticians! They had two boys. How was a Cancemilla a first cousin?

Katie Terranova is Joe Cancamilla's sister

There were two sibilings of my Dad's that died very young < y/o in San Francisco.. One had whooping cough.

Cousins named Catuccio lived in San Jose,Ca (Evergreen area). One was a dentist. One was shot for taking someone's picture! yikes

My grandmother's sister(Mamie? Rubino) was married to a Catuccio and first name Gasper or Gaspeil?

Well, I think I'm throughly confused!!! I don't know how you do all this but I sure commend you all!

The second set sounds like a better match as far as age, wonder if the last names, Bruno, are just spelled wrong. I will ask my Dad and Aunt. Hope they are up to an inqusition!
Much Thanks!
