Perhaps, but the point it that things have changed a great deal in the last 2-1/2 years and what worked then may or may not be applicable today. No, I just think it is important to point out that 2-1/2 years is a long time in this business and that much has changed. Also, that your apparent good luck and fast resolution to your wife's application is an oddity, not the norm, as evidenced by the fact that nearly everyone else has reported waiting one, two years and sometimes more.pastasugo wrote:I was asked a question and answered it. Heck, at the moment, many of the busier consulates are handing out appointments 6 or more months in the future. At least one, Miami, has gone so far as to close its appointment desk for two months until mid-June..
