Unable to find..............

I have received documents (death record) with a place of origin of an individual:

for him:
Castellamare da Roch

and for his wife:
Castellamare di Napoli

The documents are in French so they may not be the Italian spelling.

I had thought the location was Roccapiemonte for the individual but maybe not.

The closest has been a suggestion on another forum that it could be Castellammare di Stabia. But, I am not sure. I will be needing to write letters requesting information and will need to be a little more comfortable with the name and finding the address for the Stato Civile.

Can anyone be of assistance?

Castellammare di Stabia, province: Napoli - region: Campania

Thank you Biff, will write letters to both places and see if I get a response for the requests I need to make.

I would think that if anyone would know of the two places you nominate, then the diocese for Castellamare would do!
