Hey, Valarie. :D

Great work on tracking Stephanie's grandmother Audrey and family. I hope Stephanie has plenty of blank Family Group Worksheets!

Still trying to locate Matteo's WWII Draft Reg Card.

A presto,
Biff

I must say you guys are amazing - how in the world did you find all this information and how did you know where to look? This is very exciting for me. Thank you again.

Hey Stephanie :D !

The obituary was from GenealogyBank, a subscription site.

records on ancestry.com, another subscription site.

Hi Stephanie,

I think that we maybe related. My Grandmother was Elisabetta Valente, and she came over on the boat through Ellis Island with her mother Emma Valente and her sister. Her mother was married to Matteo Valente.

My Grandmother was the oldest of 7 children and had the best memory, she used to tell use stories about her uncle Ernie. She ended up living in New Berlin, WI for most of her life. Married to Albert Karl and had 3 children. Dianne, Donald (my father) and Richard.

So I'm pretty sure we are cousins.
