I know Silvia "Dellasandro." She is my girlfriend's grandmother!!!
She is from Elizabeth, NJ and still lives there. We just celebrated her 88th Birthday...directly putting her parallel to the Silvia Sabina mentioned below, born in 1920!

Please contact me for info!

I also have D'Alessandro. It was my mother in laws maiden name. They are also from Luzerne Co, PA...Avoca (near Pittston).

D'Alessandro seems to be a very common name. I have never connected with one that belonged to me, tho.

None of your info is familiar to me.

Tom,
My grandmother Nicolina D'Alessandro had a brother by name Silvestro who moved to America and married an Antonia Basile. They had 5 children: Pasquale, Rafaela, Gaetano, Silvia Sabina and John Diego. It looks like you are the son of John. Can you confirm this information relative to the whole family? My mom is really looking for any surviving family and wishes to meet them. Your help would be extremely appreciated. My mom is now 77 and his greatest desire before she dies is to meet the rest of the family on her mother's side. Thank you again

Pony,

this is my family. Antonia is my great-grandmother. Contact me too, as I'd love to know where the family branched off many years ago.
