Druogno?
Could be Dogliano, or Dronero?

Region - Piemonte
Province - CUNEO
Town - CANOSIO

Where did you locate the information that led you to these town names?

Didn't show up in the links for towns, but found it on Google!!

There are 13 Vietti listed inthe Druogno directory at www.paginebianche.it and put in Vietti inthe first line and Druogno inthe second linebelow and click CERCA and a listing of all Vietti willshow up by name, address and telephone number. Do the same for the other surnames.

If you find any with a first name that runs in your family or wish to send one lrounf robin letter to all listed you can send a form letter in Italian to a possible relative at www.initaly.com/gene/mem/letter1.htm =Peter=

Hello! Yes, I need all of the help that I can get. My father's family was from the Cuneo area. They ended up in Canosio. Surnames would be Isoardi, Reinero, Pasero. I visited Canosio in 1984 and found my grandmother's house and visited the cemetery and found many of the names, but dont know if they are relatives.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can search town records? The town is very small. The Pasero's, who owned the only hotel in the town, are no longer there from what I understand--so I cant attempt to contact them.

Thank you for your help.

Hello!

We must be related. My grandmother is Nina Vietti Gilmore and her father is Battista Vietti who settled, finally, in Mt. Shasta, after leaving Druogno. His wife was Eugenia Feminis, also from that area.

Battista's sister came to California after him and married a Cheula. A brother of theirs did as well.

Would love to hear what you've been able to find and share what little I have. Easiest to email me directly.

Best,
Linda
