Zarli Family

[rjlewl]

Hello everyone,

I am searching for my maternal great grandfather - Beniamino Zarli born June 10, 1874. He arrived in the USA, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, about 1904. His wife Clementina Iezzi and two sons Alberto and Giovanni arrived later and they lived in Toulon, France where the two sons were born.

Beniamino had a brother Allessandro Zarli (Alexander) born March 7, 1888 and his WWI Registration Card lists his place of birth as Mondaquela (Montaquila) Italy. I looked up and found out that Montaquila is in Isernia, Molise.

Can anyone tell me if LDS has records for this Region?

Also, could someone please tell me where I can send for birth records or possible churches for records?

I haven't found how long Beniamino and Clementina lived in Toulon, France. Was this common for Italians to live in France?

Thank you in advance for any help that you can give. It is truly appreciated.

Rose
