LIPARI FAMILIES, SIENA, ITALY?

Looking for family of Bartolomeo Lipari born 27/09/1875 at Santa Cecilia, Italy. I think this village is near Siena? Can someone help us here.

Hi Peter, thanks, I did "google" poggio Santa Cecilia, this is how I discovered whereabout in Italyit could be and accrding to the surname Lipari the history says they were decendants from Tuscany. Has the village Santa Cecilia name changed over the years. We found this birthplace on his "register" with his birthdate, marriage date as well as his wife's birthdate. However Sarah his then wife was born in Cape Town, S.A.
We would like to apply for Italian citizenship and need to find his paper of birth, but not sure which town he was born in. Are we on the right track do you think??
If there are any Lipari's out there please feel free to give advice, gracie.

The Rapalano Uffico di Stato Civile is where the couments should be found. Go to www.mangeruca.,com for form letters in italian and address. Enclose $5-10 Rand equivalent (US$) since research is an end of day duty by poorly paid clerks.
