Truglio family
Truglio family
Looking for any information on the family of Francesco Donato Truglio who was born in Ciro, Italy in 1897 and immigated to the United States in the mid-1920s. His father was Nicodemo Truglio and his mother was Maria Bruno Truglio. He served in the Italian Army during WWI and was taken prisoner by the Germans. I would like to find more information about his family in Italy.

Hi, and welcome to the forum
The informational website Peter has provided is an excellent way to begin your search in Italy.
Do you have US records? census, manifests, etc.?
In the Italian phone book for Ciro, there are 4 listsings for Truglio. You may want to write to them inquiring about relationship?

On the link Peter provided is a link to a form letter to write to possible relatives in Italy...
