I'll be visiting Italy and going to Venice and am considering diverting my trip for research. My family emigrated from San Michele al Tagliamento in the mid 1800s to Brazil.
I would love to dig deeper and find more names and birth info. Is it useful for me to travel to San Michele al Tagliamento to access records or is there somewhere else that would make sense to visit?
Thanks for your help!
Worth it to travel to San Michele al Tagliamento?

You could arrange to go to San Michele and do a research on the church records. They could potentially have records dating back to the 16th century.
