Has anybody had success getting a court order to declare someone “one and the same” in Texas?
I spent the afternoon at the county clerk and they assured me that this would not be possible and that the closest thing they could do would be a name change to get me in front of a judge. However because I am trying to reconcile a New Jersey death certificate with an incorrect 1890's NYC marriage certificate - they said I would have to file in New York. Has anyone been able to do this in Texas?
