Use nonsolocap.it
Use nonsolocap.it ("Not only postal codes.it") to look up current names. If you know the province, use beniculturali.it For example, if you are looking for Castelluccia, go to http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/?q=gallery and find Salerno, which brings you to http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... i+Salerno/ and select Napoleonic which brings you to http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... poleonico/ then use FIND to search for Castelluccia, which in this case is on the first page of towns and says OGGI CASTELCIVITA. It is one of my two ancestral towns in Italy, and the other is Potenza city PZ.
