Hi, this is my first post. I just scheduled my citizenship appointment at the Los Angeles consulate today. The appointment they gave me was March 5, 2025!!!! They say this was the first available and there is no way to get one sooner. So 2 questions:
1) has anyone scheduled in LA recently? what was your wait time for the appointment?
2) if you scheduled recently at another consulate what was your wait time?
7 years seems really ludicrous. I might move temporarily to another jurisdiction because it seems like the usual wait is about 1.5 years. Crazy. Any info appreciated. Thanks!

I scheduled my appointment with the LA Consulate last July (2017) and they gave me a date of October 2019.
